I thought the weight check today was wonderful until Harper's pediatrician called this afternoon to say she wasn't satisfied with the gain. She has put Harper on a 22 calorie diet which simply means adding more formula to the water than the regular 1 scoop per 2 ounces. Hopefully, she will have gained enough to satisfy the pediatrician at her next weight check on Thursday and will be taken off the extra calories. I am not worried as I believe the technique I learned from the speech therapist yesterday coupled with the extended time Harper has been staying awake, we will reach and surpass her birth weight in no time.
